Manufactured Santa Monica as serial number 2008 on 19 April 1938

Delivered to United Airlines as NC18942, 20 April 1938.

Named “Cleveland”, “Twin Falls” and “Baltimore”

Accident at Moline, Ohio (United Airlines Flight #8), 20 December 1942. Aircraft repaired.

Sold to Leeward Aero Services as N92C on 5th June 1954.

To Chrysler Corporation

To Cook & Co as N80R, rebuilt by Leeward Aviation, Miami, Florida, 12 January 1956.

Winn-Dixie Stores, Jacksonville, Florida, February 1966.

Incident on 18 July 1967, when the aircraft ground looped on a wet runway at Crystal River, Florida and substantially damaged Bell 47G N54047, parked nearby. Aircraft again repaired.

Reregistered N8044 in February 1969.

To Burnside Aviation Training Center, Miami Florida, June 1969.

To U.L. Drew, Khartoum, 30 May 1976

Stored at Wonderboom 3 October 1977

To Caprivi Airways “City of Katima Mulito” (13 August 1978).

Reregistered ZS-KEX, October 1978, Urban L. Drew Caprivi Airways.

To African Air Carriers at Lanseria Airport, 1982.

Grounded by South African DCA, at Jan Smuts Airport 1984.

Sold to Interocean Airways, later to Peter Nicholas.

Sold to M.J. Vermuelen, Rand Airport – under restoration, Springbok Aviation Services.
